Temporary Changes in Operations at AmeriCenters Due to COVID-19
Dear AmeriCenter Clients,
Given the threat posed by the COVID-19 virus, effective tomorrow (Wednesday, March 18th) AmeriCenters will be temporarily altering operations until further notice. In order to maintain a safe environment and address the concerns of our clients, guests and employees we are advising you of the following:
Reduced Onsite Staff Hours – Our staff will switch to a reduced onsite schedule. Staff will be onsite from 9:00am – 11:00am, Monday – Friday. The primary staff responsibility during this timeframe will be to sort and distribute mail. Otherwise, our staff will be working from home. If you have questions during our normal operational hours, you may reach a staff member by calling the primary telephone number for the center (listed for each location at https://www.americenters.com).
Coffee Service Suspended – Effective immediately, we will be temporarily suspending our coffee service. We will continue to monitor the situation and will reinstate the service when it is appropriate.
Meeting Spaces Access – We will be making the following changes to the access and use of our Meeting Spaces (Conference Rooms and Day Office):
Meeting space access will be permitted; however, no staff support or oversight will be provided.
Meeting spaces will be left unlocked for client use; however, please continue to book your meeting spaces through our online room scheduler.
Only use the meeting space you book and only for the timeframe you booked. Other guests are relying on the online room scheduler to be an accurate indicator of meeting space availability.
Please be sure to tidy up and leave the meeting spaces in good condition upon the conclusion of your meeting, and please be sure to leave the door unlocked for the next guests.
The White House has provided guidance indicating meetings should be restricted to no more than 10 people at this time. Booking of the Meeting Room (Conference Rooms A & B with the wall removed) will be restricted at this time.
Our 24-hour cancellation requirement will be waived at this time.
Additional Services and Building Access – All other services and building access hours will remain unchanged at this time. Our enterprise-class, fully-managed network and voice services will be remotely monitored to verify uptime and optimal performance.
CDC Recommendations – Please review and follow the recommendations provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:
Social Distancing – Avoid close contact with others. Do your best to maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from others. Communicate with the front desk staff via telephone rather than in person when possible.
Clean Hands – Wash your hands thoroughly and often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
Stay Home If You’re Sick – If you are sick, please stay home. If you have had symptoms similar to those of a COVID-19 infection, please self-quarantine until you have confirmed that your COVID-19 status is negative.
Cover Coughs and Sneezes – Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow.
Limit Non-Essential Visitors – Please limit your invitations to visitors. Limit your interactions to essential business.
We are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and are acting on guidance from public health experts. We care deeply about the safety of our community and are implementing these changes with that in mind.
Thank you for your continued support and loyalty. I am proud of the way our staff and community have supported each other during this challenging time. We truly appreciate the trust that you place in our team and our company.
